My Favorite Law of Attraction & Weight Loss Affirmations

In my upcoming book, Becoming Thin, I give people the step by step tools to manifest the life and body of their dreams and part of those tools are affirmations.  Here are some of my favorites to get you started!  First, the big one:

I use this affirmation to call my Divine Path into Divine Order and timing.  This affirmation has created new careers, relationships and brought things to me that I never imagined possible.  You are saying that you are ready and open to manifest your dream life, to live your Divine Path, whatever that might be.

Marilyn gave me this quote the first day I went to see her.  It reminds me that MIRACLES HAPPEN when we commit to ourselves to something, when we are consciously creating our dream lives.  It reminds me not to worry about HOW it will come, but to just EXPECT MIRACLES!

Within me is the wisdom of the ages.  That wisdom now shows me how to expand my life. That wisdom now shows me how to prosper and be free. I am divinely guided in all situations and decisions. Everything I need to know about __________ is revealed to me now.

I use this affirmation when I have a question about something and need guidance on which road to take.  For example, when I first started writing this book, I was not sure if I should make it specifically about weight loss or about my life and the Law of Attraction in general.  I wrote this affirmation in my journal and put “my book” in the blank.  That very same evening, I just happened to click on a radio interview that Oprah did and she was saying how someone needs to write about using the Law of Attraction specifically to weight loss.  There was my answer, from Oprah herself!  It is all part of watching for the signs after you ask, because they can come in various ways that you might not be expecting.  Who would have thought that Oprah would be the Messenger to tell me the route to take with my book?

I now let go of worn out things, worn out conditions and worn out relationships. Divine Order is now established and maintained in my life. The inflow and outflow of everything in my life is established in divine order.

This affirmation helps to let go of things that no longer server you. As you travel on the conscious creating path, you will find that you are no longer attracted to certain people or things and become very attracted to other people and things.  This is part of the natural flow of living the life of your dreams.  Your instincts are telling you the people, places and things that you need to connect with to achieve what you want.  Listen to your instincts and follow them.

I do not depend upon persons or conditions for my prosperity. God is the source of all my prosperity and provides His own channels of supply to me now.  I can clearly see that nothing or no one can stand between me and my Good.  I dissolve in my mind and in the minds of all others any idea that my own can be withheld from me.  That which is for my highest Good comes to me now and in my clear perception of truth, I welcome it! I now accomplish great things with ease.  My life cannot be limited.  My financial income cannot be limited.  God in me now frees me from all limitation.  I am rich in mind and manifestation now!

This affirmation is a great reminder that no one or nothing can limit us or hold back our Good.  We are free from limitation as we are all Children of God, we are all Divine Spiritual Beings!

Sierra's Weight Loss Tips


If you are reading this, you are probably one of those people who are always struggling with their weight. Believe me, I understand. I have been yo-yoing with my weight my whole life. I understand what it is like to feel fat and unattractive, to not have any energy, and to feel helpless to do anything about it.  I have been there. I have lost 170 pounds.  Of course everyone wants to know what I did.  It was a journey of mind, body and spirit.  I believe addressing all aspects is the key to long term weight loss.

I have put together some tips that helped me achieve my long term weight loss.  My wish is that you find something here that helps you along on your weight loss journey.

·       Find your motivation to change your current eating habits and lifestyle. For each individual person, "the thing", the one thing that finally motivates you to go for it, is different. You have to find your thing; the person, or place, or photo, or health issue that motivates YOU. I recommend taking pictures of yourself so you can no longer avoid knowing what you look like to others. You have to be honest with yourself, even if you are not honest about your weight on your driver's license! Sometimes the photos alone are enough to motivate you. If that doesn't do it, maybe there is some hot guy you like (or some husband you want to keep!), or a trip you want to take, or a cute outfit that you want to look good in. Whatever your motivation is, post it on the fridge and all around your house and keep it in the forefront of your mind at all times. I kept several things in my mind during my weight loss. One was a photo of myself looking like the Goodyear Blimp's younger sister. The other was that my knees were starting to go and I thought about having to use a lift system to get up the stairs to my house. That one really motivated me.  The idea is to find something that gets you motivated and gets you started. 

·       I am a big believer in the power of affirmations and visualization. It is a very powerful message to the universe and to your sub-conscious mind when you write down your hopes and dreams as if you already have them. I used a journal and wrote things like: "I am healthy and thin", "I weigh 130 pounds", "I am a size 5". You get the idea. The trick is to write the sentences AS IF YOU ALREADY ARE AND ALREADY HAVE THE THINGS YOU ARE WRITING ABOUT. Do not write "I will be", or "I wish I was", or "I want". Once you have your affirmation list, LOOK AT IT EVERY DAY, best is in the morning before you start your day (while you are drinking your green tea!) and even better, all throughout the day and before you go to bed. To go with your written affirmations, VISUALIZE AND FEEL YOURSELF as the thin person you are. Sit up!! Hold your body like a thin person, walk like a thin person, talk like a thin person.  Visualize yourself in the clothes you want to wear, FEEL IT, BE IT! This is an important part of weight loss, do not skip this step, it really helps! One of the things I did is when I was huffing and puffing up the steps from the beach to my house was that I pictured myself bouncing and even running up those steps. Now it is true! Visualize yourself on vacation with lots of energy and cute clothes, visualize yourself buckling your seat belt without holding in your stomach, visualize yourself zipping up adorable Size 5 jeans with ease. The more you do this, the easier your weight loss will be. Trust me on this.

·       It is so important to do things that make you feel good about yourself during this time. Please take off those ugly sweats, cut them up and use them for cleaning the house and buy yourself some new clothes that you feel good in, no matter what size they are. NO FRUMPS!!!! eBay, Torrid.com and Alight.com were a Godsend for me as I was able to buy really cute plus size clothing that made me feel great. Don't go crazy, because your new clothes wont fit you for long! Keep cleaning out your closet as clothes get too big on you. Donate them to your fat friends who will want to know what you are doing or even sell them on eBay. Don't keep around "fat clothes" just in case. You don't want to have that to fall back on. Don't create safety nets for yourself this time. Go for it or Go HOME! Get a manicure, get your hair done, treat yourself like the princess (or prince) that you are! The trick is to keep you feeling good about yourself and not fall back into self pity and overeating.  If looking in a mirror frustrates you, don’t look in the mirror until it feels good!

·       Raise your hand if you are a member of The Clean Plate Club. Yep, I thought so. I am the same way, there are starving children in Africa, you know. I have learned to ask for smaller portions because it is so hard for me to leave food on my plate. If you are still served too big portions, repeat after me, "It is okay to leave food on my plate. Worms and bugs need food too, it will get eaten by something eventually, it doesn't have to be me." Keep saying it. Stop eating when you are full. It is always good to drink green tea 10 minutes before you eat. You will feel fuller faster and will have that extra motivation and willpower that you need.

·       It is very important to identify and release the belief systems that keep you eating food to self sabotage your dreams.  If you are overweight, your beliefs are holding you there.  It is very possible to change these beliefs with your persistent new thoughts and emotions.  Read my ebook, Becoming Thin that teaches my I AM Diet Plan and use my Guided Visualization which helps to eliminate the limiting beliefs which keep you from your dreams. 

·       Don’t put off your life until you get thin.  Start doing the things you have been putting off.  Live NOW as you would if you were already thin.  Be thin now!


·       Find a long term eating plan that works for you and that you can stick to. What is important is that it is a program that you can stay on without feeling deprived and hungry (feeling deprived leads to overeating!) and that will support you after you have reached your goal.

·       Sorry, but you cannot get out of the exercise thing. It is essential not only for weight loss, but for your overall health. Start out slow, don't push yourself. Take a walk with a friend or your poor dog who never gets out.  Find fun things to do for exercise that you don’t dread.  As you lose weight, you will find that your energy level is higher and you will WANT TO EXERCISE. Really! I never thought it could be true, but as I got thinner, I actually wanted to exercise because I had so much energy. It just feels so good for so many reasons. There are also lots of great online workout programs too.

·       Stay conscious when you eat. If you are like me, you can go into a kind of food stupor and you don't even think or breath until everything on your plate is gone and then you wonder where it went! Put your fork down between every few bites, eat slowly, chew, chew, chew! I still have to remind myself to do this. It is a hard habit to break, but so important to do for your health and weight loss goals.\\

·       Be kind to yourself. Don't beat yourself up if you really want to eat something.  If you are going to feel guilty before and after eating, you are not going to enjoy it and it will be even worse, body, mind and soul.  Enjoy your meal, enjoy every single bite, slowly.  Then just get right back on and continue. You deserve it and you are worth it. Be like thin people and when you overeat, compensate.  Get right back to listening to your body.  And if you are going to eat something that you consider bad, like a hamburger, be sure to eat it with leafy greens like a salad to help your body digest it.

·       Congratulate yourself on the big and small victories and successes. I threw a party when I was able to cross my legs again with ease (but of course I didn't tell anyone what the party really was celebrating!)

·       Do not let yourself get to the starving point as that can lead to a major overeating binge. It is always better to eat 6 small meals during the day, or at least have a snack between meals to keep your metabolism up. I usually snack on nuts (don't go overboard, but they are a good source of protein and very filling) or fruits or both.

·       One of the best things you can do for your overall health and weight loss is to stop eating processed foods. Fill your diet with whole foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and whole grains. Foods that are still in their original, natural form. Highly processed breads, pastas, meats, and other foods that no longer resemble what they once were will slow down your weight loss. Fried foods are out too, they are just horrible for your system. Become a lean, mean, greaseless machine!

·       Drink lots of water. This helps with weight loss but will also help to keep your skin hydrated to avoid stretch marks and hanging skin. Use lots of lotion too. Coconut oil is one of the best products for your skin!

·       Get yourself some support.  Hang with people with like minded goals.  Get a Life Coach, preferably ME, who will support you and keep you accountable. Join other groups that will support you in your dreams.

·       Look in the mirror everyday and say "Love You" and mean it, no matter where you are with your weight loss goals!

The Power of Repetative Audio Programs (RAPs) for Shifting Beliefs and Manifestation

I recently discovered the power of listening to repeated affirmations, repetitive audio programs (RAPs) while sleeping. When we sleep, we are in an alpha state, a state of non-resistance where our subconscious beliefs are easily tapped into. During the day, we stay focused with positive thoughts, but sometimes our deeper beliefs held on a subconscious level are stamping out our good work.


I have had amazing results in all aspects of my life with listening to looping affirmations while in the state of sleep/non resistance, especially when coupled with bineural beat music, like the Guided Visualization I created.


It's perfect for people like me who don't like to do many processes. I just turn on my ipod and go to sleep. Now that is MY kind of process!


I knew my recorded affirmations were working and could feel the difference for sure, but then I started feeling a resistance...kind of an irritation when I went to put on my RAP playlist before going to sleep that made me want to just put on music instead.

I asked myself what that was about and my guidance told me that it was my limiting beliefs fighting for their lives...the constant affirmations at night were breaking them down and they were resisting being written over with new unlimited beliefs. I knew this was the most important time of all to push through it, keep listening, break on through to the other side!! So after a two or three night break, I started up again.

Truly, I am having amazing results in the way I feel and think. The trick is to stick with it, especially when you feel resistance, as this is a sign that your limiting beliefs are being shifted. Personally, I am really liking this Night Shift thing.

Of course, I recommend the looping affirmations I have created as it covers all aspects of wellness and wellbeing, including weight loss, abundance, worthiness, and more, and there are many others that can be found on the internet. I recommend ones with bineural beats for added sinking in factor!

Following Your Inner Guidance & Becoming Your Higher Self


We all have heard about our intuition or inner guidance. Some call it your soul, or higher being or inner being or higher self or even our sixth sense. All of these terms can be used interchangeably because for me, they all mean the same thing: the divine super intelligence that is the bigger part of us, the non physical part of us that is always connected to divine, supreme, higher, God Source energy. It is who we really are. That inner voice, the intuition; that is the God in YOU. You always have access to that. We can’t ask for better inner guidance than that!


We all have that constant, steady, always ready connection to divine God Source intelligence. You are not the lone human on the planet without this guidance. And people, please, God did not stop talking when the Ten Commandments were handed down to Moses. God still speaks through us, through the voice and guidance of our inner being. How cool is that?


It is important to learn to hear and trust that inner guidance. Your higher self always feels good. Being your higher self and listening to your inner guidance is connecting with who you really are; that thin, healthy, happy person who allows themselves to receive all the good that is theirs by divine birthright. YOU know you are worthy and deserving of all that YOU desire when you are connected with the HIGHER YOU.

Using your inner guidance and intuition is essential for a balanced, joyful life. Most importantly, you use your inner guidance to find your inspiration, what turns you on, what makes you go Oh Yeah, Baby!

Use your inner guidance to find what inspires you, your true journey or what I like to call my Divine Path. I know that when I follow the divine signs and messages that come to me, when I follow my inspiration, things easily flow into place. Connections, people, places things come to me that I never could have imagined. That’s when I know I am aligned with who I really am.

When you feel good, you are seeing things through the perspective of your higher self. When you are connected with your Higher YOU is when inspired ideas and magical messages and divine signs come easily and frequently. To be inspired is to be “in-spirit”. When we feel inspired, we are connected to God Source, and from that place we can create anything, including our desired weight.

It’s time to connect yourself with your body by listening to your inner guidance that knows what your body wants and needs. Your body will talk to you in various ways and direct you.

That’s how I knew I was totally aligned with losing weight this time. The journey was easy for me because I had used my inner guidance to show me the way to the best things to eat, how to exercise, and the best thoughts and feelings for quick and easy weight loss.


For instance, when I began my weight loss journey, I was called to order and drink Japanese Green tea. Not the Lipton variety, mind you, but the real stuff from Japan. And it wasn’t just the constant spam about weight loss with green tea that I kept receiving. I just KNEW it was for me. I felt like my body was calling for it. Every time I saw something about Japanese green tea, I felt something resonate within me. Of course, it turned out to be the closest thing to a magic pill outside myself that I could have found. It worked and still works amazingly for me. And I found it by using my intuition, what felt really good to me, not just by reading studies and believing other people’s stories of success.


Here’s another thing I discovered when I really listened to my body and inner guidance. Six smaller meals, instead of three bigger ones, really worked for me. I was never hungry, it was easier and this kept my metabolism up too. Where did 3 meals per day rule start anyway? Who made that rule anyway? Yes, it is the society norm but does this work for everyone? It doesn’t work for me and I no longer eat that way.

It is good to have your own beliefs; you take in all kinds of information from well meaning friends, the internet and books and gleen what feels good and resonates with you. But also don’t get stuck in your beliefs, keep exploring and expanding for what feels good to you. You are unique and the exact combination of foods, supplements and exercise is also uniquely yours. You are looking for the choices that feel good to you, what resonates with you, what makes you feel good.

Don’t let people convince you that something is good for you and you have to try it because it works for them or they think you should do it. Just because something works for one person, it might not work for another. If you have doubts, there is a reason… don’t let others influence you to do something you don’t feel good about. FEEL your way through, listen to your inner guidance and you will be led down the divine path for you! However, if it feels good, do it because often our guidance comes through others. As you listen to your feelings, your guidance, your heart, you will know when it is meant JUST FOR YOU!

Use your own inner guidance on ideas and concepts presented to you. Your guidance is there to lead you on your Path in a divinely guided way, to make it easy and flowing for you. You will just know what resonates with you and will work best for you. Trust it. Go with it. YOU know what is best for you!


If you don’t already feel you have a strong connection with your inner guidance, well you do! You just don’t realize it yet. We ALL have that connection; it is just different for each person.

The easiest way to follow your inner guidance is to allow your emotions be your guide. If you don’t feel good, you are not feeling or thinking about the situation from the perspective of your higher self. In other words, if we feel bad about how we look and get upset and feel like a failure, we are not looking at the situation through the eyes of Source. That’s why we feel bad! Your higher self sees you as perfect the way you are, and when you don’t see you that way, you feel bad.

Many people meditate to connect more profoundly with their inner being. Some find that guidance can flow out through them by writing or typing in a meditative state, others just ask and hear the answer come into their mind or they are shown in a short time the answer to their question by divine signs and messages. You do not need to sit in the lotus position for hours every day. A short 15 minutes done consistently each day is all you need to start connecting on a deeper level.

Edgar Cayce promoted 'creative writing.' He described this as sitting quietly and in a reflective state, even a spiritually attuned state, and then letting thoughts and ideas flow to you, writing them down as they come. Don’t think of these as being for others or for publication. The guidance is for you; it is communication from your higher self, even from God, to your outer self.

That voice you hear when you ask yourself a question, usually the first answer you get, but not always, is your inner/higher guidance. The voice that doubts and says you can’t do it, or it’s not possible or that you do not deserve it is NOT your inner guidance, but the B.S. (belief systems) you have built up over the years. The idea is to allow the voice of your inner guidance overrule and conquer your negative, limiting belief systems.

I asked my friend David how he would tell the average person how to connect to their inner being. He answered the following:

“I would start by saying hi to my inner being. Hello! Inner Being! In other words, I would acknowledge the presence of my inner being and I would affirm or intend to want to become a part of my inner being more intimately on a daily basis.

So whenever I give thought to the fact that I have a much larger part of me on the inside in the unseen world I become more and more a part of that person and I then open myself up to all the benefits of aligning myself with my inner self or my God self or my Source self.

Now if a person is filled with too many outer thoughts to hear their inner being at first, I would consider some quiet time meditation to still the outer voices filling the brain. When all the mind chatter is quieted, one will really be tapping more into their inner being like never before.”

How you communicate with your inner being and receiving divine guidance is very personal to you. And how your higher self communicates with you is also very unique. Some people feel that their inner being is a female, some a male, some a “group”. Some see visions, some hear their guidance like a voice, and for some it is strong urges… or all of them. There is no “right” way to connect and communicate with your higher being. The important thing is to do it, trust it and listen to it.  The more you connect, the more you will easily flow down the river of life!

Why I Love Japanese Green Tea ~ Great for Weight Loss and So Much More!



Japanese Green Tea has been a big part of my weight loss and maintenance.  Here's how I got started:

In June of 2005, I slipped and fell in my bathroom, hitting my face hard on the tile floor. I was shocked when I saw the photos of myself a few days later - not because of the big black eye and bruised face, but because of the size of my body! I looked like a huge blimp! I had to weigh close to 300 pounds, if not more. It was my major wake-up call and I knew I had to do something fast. I had known I was fat, but I didn't realize I was THAT FAT.



I was led to Japanese green tea by my inner guidance, it seemed to be showing up every where, so I started reading a lot of websites about weight loss and green tea and decided to give it a try - the only thing I had to lose was over 150 pounds. I did some research and was impressed with the quality of green teas that were carried by a particular company so I placed my first order. Even Lipton sells green tea these days, but I needed the REAL THING, straight from Japan, something with all the properties and benefits still present in the tea, and definitely not some inferior or highly processed product. I had a long road ahead of me and wanted to be sure I had the full strength weight loss aid to do it right.

On August 15, 2005, I drank my first cup of green tea. Being obese and yo-yo dieting can effect your body in many negative ways. While I have not heard scientific claims regarding this, and I am certainly no scientist, I am 100 percent sure that the green tea regulated my menstral cycle for the first time in many years, and I am convinced that it has positively affected my metabolism as well.


A high quality green tea, when made correctly, is delicious. It nourishes my body in so many ways - I do not feel hungry all the time and I am satisfied with much less food. It has helped me in so many other ways and I felt the difference immediately. For more detailed info on exactly how I lost the weight, please be sure to get on my mailing list!


There is a lot of scientific evidence out there, but I think the proof is in the results and I can wholeheartedly stand behind the weight loss and health benefits of Japanese green tea. Besides my own innner guidance and using my thoughts to become thin, it is the closest thing to a magic pill I have found.


I started out using the green tea bags, which work great. I usually drink 2 cups in the morning and then again in the afternoons. I like it hot the best and think it does the most for your body that way, but it is also refreshing cold on hot days. If I skip a day or two, I find my body craving it! I will also sometimes add Organic Goji Berries to my green tea for a sweeter flavor and a real nutritional punch. (Don't tell the Green Tea Connoisseurs this though! LOL)

There are a lot of different choices out there, but I highly recommend the Uji teas I have listed here, as I have found them to be the best tasting and most effective. This is not a time to sell yourself short and look for the cheap quick fix, like name brand green teas from grocery stores or green tea pills and supplements. I can only recommend the REAL STUFF, direct from Japan, because that is what worked for me.

Now, almost five years later, I still drink my green tea almost daily and take care to make sure I never run out!

Food: Saving Grace at Thanksgiving


Let's face it. For many, Thanksgiving is a much about food as it is about giving thanks. It can be a trying and guilt filled day for those wanting to become thin, but it doesn't have to be. I suggest making a plan before the big day, feel good about your plan, and stick with it. This will save yourself a lot of guilt, torture, self loathing, anger and resentment.

Plan A: Decide that you are not going to let Thanksgiving get you off track. It's just food after all. We live in abundance and there will still be food the day after Thanksgiving; you don't have to eat it all in one day You ill concentrate on the joy and love of being with your friends and family, taste many things, but stick to small portions and not pig out. You will enjoy every bite, chew slowly, and savor the smells and tastes without stuffing yourself to the limit. You will feel strong, satisfied, healthy and proud of yourself.


Plan B: Decide that it's just once a year after all, and no two ways about it, you are going to pig out. You will not torture yourself pretending that you wont and then do it anyway creating feelings of guilt and failure. You are being honest with yourself. Your thin relatives are stuffing themselves and you should be able to eat as much as you want too. You will enjoy every bite, chew slowly, and savor the smells and tastes and eat to your heart's content. The difference is, you shall not feel guilty about it. You will allow yourself this day of feast and commit to it not becoming a week-long binge.


Which plan is best? The one that feels the best to you; the one that you will stick to. Plan A is great if you are on a roll, have been visualizing and Being your thin self and are dreading a day of overeating and what it might do to your self esteem and body. Plan B is great if you know you will not be able to resist and don't want to feel bad about it. By allowing yourself to eat as much as you want this one day, you are less likely to keep binging in the vicious circle of eat/guilt/eat/guilt.

Defining Your Desires


WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT? Getting clear on what you truly desire is essential because in order to get what you want, you need to know what that is. How can the magical Universe give it to you if even you don’t know what you want? You gotta tell em’! You want to be thin, you say? Well, of course, but what else? This is not just about “I want to be thin.” How will you feel in your thin body? How will your clothes feel? How will you interact with people and how will they interact with you? How do you want to walk, feel, relate to others? How will your life feel to you with the body that you desire? We want the nitty gritty details that create the Attractor Factor!


By defining what you truly desire, you start feeling how it would be to have these things in your life, and this brings more of what you want to you. It also begins to take your mind off that which you don’t want, because when you talk and think about what you don’t want, you are bringing those things into your vibration also. You are focusing on it, thinking about it and therefore attracting it to you. Focus and think only about what you do want! It’s a Law of Attraction thing.


Also, by getting really clear on what you desire, you just might find that you have resistance and deservabiltiy issues to actually having them, and then you can deal with those one by one as they come up. You have to really want it, feel that you deserve it and be it for this to be an easy journey.


For me, writing down all my desires let’s me feel that it is done, that I have handed over to the Universe and I can let it go, not worry about the how's and when's and details. But many people feel it and then go through the thought process of, “that will never happen, how can it happen, when will it happen”, and they negate all their good work and intentions. Let the Universe work for you. Tell your new story and stick with it! The more you tell it, the more you believe it. The more you believe it, the more it becomes reality.

I have found that putting true passion behind your desires brings them closer to you faster. Passion is a major Attractor Factor. Defining your desires and getting excited about them is what creates the passion and inspiration that makes them manifest easily and quickly. It gets you into that feeling place of already having them and that’s where you want to be.When you get clear on your desires and know what you truly want, you feel inspired. Not Guilty! Eating with Joy

Eat too much Halloween candy? Already sampling Thanksgiving Dinner? Can't keep your fingers out of the cookie jar? Well, you are not alone. And you are not alone in the guilt that you feel during and afterwards either.

The thing is, thin people eat Halloween candy, they enjoy every bite and don't spend days in depressed guilt. They get on with it. They ate it, it was good, carry on! This is an attitude that most is beneficial to adopt and emulate. Think like a thin person, become it now!

If you are going to eat something, eat it with JOY, not guilt as guilt carries a lot of calories and emotional baggage. If we tell ourselves we can't eat it, it's bad for us, it will make us fat and then eat it anyway, that is the worst thing you can do for you and your body physically and emotionally. It's an emotional tug o' war and because we eat it with guilt, our bodies hear the message "bad for you, fattening" and therefore process it that way, causing you to gain weight quicker.

If there is something you truly want to eat, then stop tormenting yourself and eat it with JOY. Allow yourself to eat it without guilt and you will probably find that you will eat less anyway because it is no longer a "forbidden" food, and that takes away half the seduction and temptation. Try guiltless eating and see how much better you feel emotionally and your body feels physically.

Let go of the guilt. Think like a thin person. Today is truly a new day, ready for you to create the new YOU!

It's Not Your Body's Fault!

If you are more than just a few pounds overweight, your body is protecting you from something. It's what you have it programmed and asked it to do. It could be fear of physical abuse, fear of intimacy, fear of success, fear of being liked, fear of not being liked, fear of not enough food... there are a great variety of fears that we hold onto that make our body think it needs to protect us with excess weight. It's just doing it's job!

Our bodies were originally built for feast or famine. Our bodies translate every day stress and long term fears as a time of famine and scarcity. Time to eat up, time to store up, time to fatten up. Our body begins to crave fattening foods and give us urges to eat even when we are not hungry. We overeat as if we are starving. It's our body taking care of us...it thinks.

So, we want to reprogram our bodies to think we are in a time of feast. We program our bodies to want to be thin. There is plenty of food, we do not need the extra protection of excess weight because we are safe. We can eat whole, healthy foods because there is plenty and that is what your body naturally begins to crave.


As we easily let go of long term fears by changing our thoughts through practice, visualization and BECOMING the thin person we seek to be, our body responds. Our body begins to start craving healthy foods. We no longer feel the urge to overeat. We easily and naturally become thin as our body and our mind work together to create the new YOU! No more blaming and struggling against our bodies that are just trying to protect us. Let us thank and appreciate our bodies for taking care of us, and for now taking care of us again by reprogramming itself to want to be thin!

People often ask me why affirmations are not working for them. If you are saying your affirmations but then thinking "No, that can never happen for me, that is not true," you are actually cancelling out your affirmations with your negative thoughts.
